Sorry for the lack of Scene On A Sunday today, but I'm currently navigating without the use of a mouse and it's just too tedious doing all that mumbo-jumbo with a keyboard. I just recently Bright Star, I know it wasn't loved by all, but I'm loving it even more as time goes by...
What's on your mind? Seen any thing good lately

I just saw this Hong Kong thriller, 'Koma'. 'Twas alright. Subtitles are a bit distracting, but it's either that or awful, wretched dub.
I also won a movie! And I'm super-fucking-psyched about it!
And how are you?
I saw "The Orphanage" last night, and while it packed its fair share of good thrills, I had trouble connecting with the film emotionally. It left me unmoved.
Still haven't seen it in the theatres here... damn!
I saw Iron Man 2 this weekend, fun! Just as cocky and explosive as the first one. Better vilain, change of an actor, Johansson doesn't annoy me as much as I expected and Downey Jr is still a blast so all in all I'd call it a positive outing! Only problem is getting behind the wheel of your car afterwards... dangerous! :p
"Bright Star" stole my heart, and I usually don't gravitate to period dramas -- just a visually beautiful film and so well-acted all-around.
I saw "Dead Presidents" over the weekend, which is a winner and NOT the heist film it's billed as (it's deeper than that). "The Elephant Man," which I hadn't seen in years, also blew me away; John Hurt is phenomenal in a very difficult part based on the true story of a man with a rare disorder.
I wasn't a fan of Bright Star, but I did like The Piano a lot.
I'm in the middle of doing the 1974 Best Actress race on my blog, and I just saw A Woman Under The Influence and it has to be one of the weirdest, most exhausting movies I've ever seen. But Rowlands was fantastic! And please comment more on my posts! I miss it when you comment!
simon congrats on the movie win. i hope you pick a good one (as in NOT the blind side :)
danny don't know if i will see it, i'll wait for your review.
cris well since i'm seeing it for scarjo mostly, i'm glad she doesn't annoy you. hee
the elephant man i haven't seen the elephant man in a looong time. i can't even remember it clearly...
joe a woman under the influence is grueling.
Hello guys,
My name is Harry and I am from Stirling in the United Kingdom. I have in recent past discovered this forum and I like it very much.
I am a little bit shy so I will not write much about myself but maybe when I will get more confortable, you will get to know me better!
My main hobbies are playing chess and watching movies. I also love outdoor activites but the temperature has been very bad for the last days or so here in Stirling in the city|.
I was wondering if someone else here is from the UK too?
I am glad to have joined this forum!
Cya!
:)

PS: I apologize if this was posted in the wrong topic. I could not find the good one!
