"I'll Never Let Go"

I'm really in the mood to see Titanic right now. You know, I know that right now it's the norm to hate this. The allegedly schmaltzy dialogue, those one note characters, the histrionics of the scenes and all that jazz. But screw that. Firstly, what the hell are they talking about? And two. Who cares? I'm sorry. I happen to like love this movie. A lot.

And isn't that picture just lovely?

That'll be the day when I'm convinced that Titanic isn't wonderful. Chalk it up to growing up in the '90s and getting swept up in the mania of it all...

well in that case pop it in and enjoy it. see it as your Avatar-prequel in some weird way.

It takes balls to admit such things.
Well done.

the mad hatter it's sort of like confession...good for the soul and all ;).

luke, rc duly noted.

rc that's actually one thing i was thinking about. one thing about james cameron, the man does not ever make a boring. a three hour film in any other director would be a potential snooze fest.

Kate's photo in the headline (with the hat and all) makes me think of candy and sweet chewing gum! That's what I remember. :)
oh, I'm so old.

I can't say I love it the way you do, but I always found it odd the way it is attacked compared to it's contemporaries. It certainly had it's moments.

james d that's the weirdest thing about the response to titanic. there's not argument, it's just bad. end of story. that's what they tell me.
