What about The Piano?

No Sleepless in Seattle? Love that film. Your other choices are inspired.

jeffery Always happy to see a lover of The English Patient

knowingviews Yes, [faults and all]you have to admit the goodness

joe I would be hard pressed to extract anything potently romantic from the piano

jude sleepless in seattle is not a bad choice, i actually like tom in that as in most comedies, but meg ryan is just bland to me.

I think that The Piano is a very romantic movie. Maybe not a romance, but still romantic. Did you not like the film? If so, why?

what's up with Marisa & Joe Pesci? :D how is that a classic romance of the 90s?

i am also thinking Wings of the Dove. I dunno why. it's just popped up. as a 3way love

joe yes i like the piano...it's a fine film, but i don't see the romance as a major theme. of course it's not a major theme with my cousin vinny so alex has a point. but i wanted something contemporary. it was either that or the fisher king's bridges and rhuel.

and alex the wings of the dove was the first hbc film that came to mind...but it's did he still love her at the end...i don't know. too depressing.

bless you for including my cousin vinny. BLESS YOU!! :D the romance isn't the main storyline at all, but the chemistry between them is what makes the film brilliant.
