Random

At the behest of Alex in Movieland, I'm currently looking at Billy Wilder's Witness For the Prosecution. It's going wonderfully so far...

Expect a review to be forthcoming...

Anyhow, how many of you have seen this classic? Was Marlene Dietrich snubbed? Were you a fan of Laughton? Lancaster? Power? Is this the best Agatha Christie adaptation?

I've seen this - 'tis on my top 70. I'm an enormous fan of agatha christie, billy wilder and just everything to do with this film. I haven't watched it in a while, so am looking forward to the review :) xxx

I found this quite entertaining - I like Laughton a lot and him & wife (er, beard) Elsa Lancaster were great in this.

Have you seen Anatomy of a Murder? That one was entertaining but also rather meandering, and it's take on rape would, I think, be quite uncomfortable for most modern audiences...
